“I have been working in osseointegration for the last 24 years so I have seen many developments and advancements in the field. In terms of research, I have been involved in various different clinical trials, mostly
in periodontics. Things have really changed over the years. Now implant dentistry is a very predictable modality of treatment so our main concerns have moved on from improving survival rates to developing the technology to improve aesthetics and to provide a better quality of treatment with faster treatment times for patients."
