Junior Committee application process

EAO Junior Committee History

The Junior Committee of the European Association for Osseointegration (EAO) was founded in 2007 during the Barcelona EAO annual congress. Its aim is to assist and support the EAO Board in achieving their mission.  More specifically the committee's task is to suggest and develop new ideas, to encourage and advance projects suggested by the EAO Board and to promote the enthusiastic participation of young researchers in the EAO.

As of 2008 the Committee consists of 7 young scientists / clinicians, who currently hold an academic or higher training position. By regulation, one member of the Junior Committee represents one country, hence no more than one participant per country is permitted, until renewal. Its members meet twice a year in order to implement their goals and evaluate new projects. Furthermore the members attend the EAO annual congresses and on certain occasions, participate at the EAO Consensus Meetings.
