New Junior Committe Members

The Junior Committee is delighted to announce their selection of Dr. Nele Van Asshe and Dr. Daniel Thoma as the two newest members of the Committee.

Composition

The Junior Committee is a group of young active scientists working in the field of dental implantology, representing the junior section of the EAO. They support the EAO Board in specific tasks and develop new ideas for the improvement and growing of the association, following EAO’s view to work for the good of patients. The Junior Committee meetings are held two or three times a year according to the needs and direction of the EAO Board.

The group currently consists of eight members from eight different European countries and aims at creating a young dental international community and a strong network between its members.  Isabella Rocchietta (Italy) and David Nisand (France) have been actively working in the Committee since 2007. Theodoros Kapos (Greece), Victor Palarie (Moldova) and Michael Payer (Austria) joined the Junior Committee at the Warsaw Congress, in September 2008. Then Frank Schwarz (Germany) joined the committee in 2009. Finally, Nele Van Assche (Belgium) and Daniel Thoma (switzerland) joined in 2011. The very dynamic team augurs well for the implementation of new projects and developments of the scientific society.
