News for EAO members: welcome to Dr Pascal Valentini!

The EAO Board of Directors warmly welcomes Dr Pascal Valentini as a new Board member. Dr Valentini was elected by the General Assembly on 19 September 2008 at the EAO Warsaw congress.

News for EAO members: 2008 General Assembly

EAO members are invited to attend the 2008 Ordinary General Assembly held in Warsaw on Friday, 19 September 2008 from 12:30 to 13:30 at the PKIN Congress Centre, "Warsaw Room".

Next EAO Board elections

The application process was open until 30 June 2008 and the EAO Secretary General Dr Paul Stone received 4 applications. The board election will take place in Warsaw at the occasion of the annual scientific meeting, during the General Assembly of the EAO members, i.e. on Friday, 19 September, from 12:30 to 13:30. 

The following persons are applying as EAO board members:

Su-Gwan Kim, South Korea
Vincente Muratore, Brazil
Aris Petros Tripodakis, Greece
Pascal Valentini, France

News for EAO members: Application for EAO Board elections

In accordance with the EAO Constitution, notification is given to EAO members of the upcoming vacant position of "Ordinary Member" for the EAO Board. The election for this post is to be held in Warsaw on Friday, 19 September, at the General Assembly. All EAO members are invited to apply in writing accompanied by: 

- a current CV in English
- 2 letters of recommendation from EAO members.   

The deadline for application is 30 June, 2008.    

The following Board members will continue in office for 2008-2009: 
Friedrich Neukam, EAO President (to become Past President in September) 
Christoph Hämmerle, President-Elect (to become President in September) 
Paul Stone, Secretary General 
Marc Quirynen, Treasurer  

The following members are standing for re-election as ordinary board members:
