EAO Congress

Since the establishment of the association, EAO has organised yearly scientific congresses. The first of these events was held in 1992 in Leuven, Belgium. To go back in the past and discover the various locations visited by the EAO Congresses, please visit the 'Past Congresses' section.

Besides the annual congresses, EAO arranges scientific meetings in cooperation with other organizations. In 1996, the 1st EAO/AO (Academy of Osseointegration) Joint Meeting took place in Amsterdam/The Netherlands. In 1999, a joint workshop was organized with the European Academy of Periodontolgy, as well as a workshop on the use of X-rays in Implant Dentistry.
