What are the benefits of Certification from the EAO?

The EAO’s Certification programme provides formal recognition of individuals who have achieved minimum standards in oral implant-based therapy. The process assesses the candidate’s core knowledge and competence in implant-based therapy. It is designed to assess and recognise competency at the level of a general practitioner with a particular interest in implant-based therapy, and includes aspects of minor alveolar ridge augmentation. The certification scheme is particularly relevant to applicants who do not have an implant-based qualification from a university or other academic institution.
