1. Acronyms: BOK: Body of Knowledge The Body of Knowledge contains all topics, subjects and fields in which the candidate for the EAO Certification should have knowledge and skills of. It describes what the candidate shall be able to do. CC: Certification Committee The Certification Committee is a group composed of at least 6 people, all members of EAO, who are responsible for organising examinations of the EAO certification. They coordinate both the multiple-choice questions examination and the oral examination. EC: Examination Committee The Examination Committee is a group of EAO members selected by the Certification Committee to examine candidates for the certification at an oral examination. Each Examination Committee is composed of three members among whom two are EAO members and one is a member of the Certification Committee. There are several Examination Committees, each evaluating a maximum of 6 candidates a day.
2. Definitions: Board The EAO Board of Directors is the decision making body of the association. This group of EAO members elected by the General Assembly of members manages the day to day work of the association and makes the most important decision. Examiners Examiners are people composing the Examination Committees. Multiple-choice questions The multiple-choice questions exam is a type of written examination chosen by the EAO to evaluate candidates for the certification. Candidates are provided a list of questions with 5 possible answers each and they need to tick the most correct answer. |
